Parents and Students are invited to join A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio, on ZOOM for a FREE preview of what Summer 2021 will look like!
For summer 2021, we will be offering both virtual and in-studio musical theatre, on-camera, voice-over and dramatic arts programs taught by amazing Broadway Veterans, Los Angeles Casting Directors and Television and Film Directors.
Join us for some or all of the sessions and feel free to Zoom in and out as you wish!
We highly recommend watching the session with your child!
The session will include:
• A quick introduction to the program
• A demo of how camp will be run featuring ACANY students and a member of our faculty (Broadway, On-Camera and Voice-Over Stars and a Top L.A. Casting Director)
• A Q&A with ACANY’s administrative staff to answer any parent questions
These sessions will just scratch the surface of what we’ll be covering throughout the summer. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of what a typical summer camp day at ACANY will look like.

Daily Dance + Warm-Up
Begin each day with an energizing and educational vocal and physical warm-up with our Broadway Director and Music Director.
Broadway Matinee & Talk-Back
Participants will be treated to a matinee performance of Broadway's FUNNY GIRL and attend a talkback with actors after the show! (Talk-backs are subject to be moved to the studio depending on COVID-19 policies at Broadway Theatres)
Private Lessons, Group Instruction and Advanced Masterclasses
A combination of private and group instruction will provide participants with a unique week-long experience. Participants will also take a series of advanced masterclasses with visiting Broadway guest artists designed to challenge and elevate our actors' skill set.
Industry Showcase w/ Scouting Talent Reps
On Thursday evening, perform in an invited dress rehearsal for 5 or more scouting talent reps! Many of our past participants have been discovered at this very program. For a list of recent student achievements, click here.
Final Showcase: Off-Broadway Debut
The Pre-Professional Program culminates in a final showcase at an off-Broadway Theatre for loved ones!

Instructor: 5x Broadway Actor Judine Somerville (HAIRSPRAY, ON THE TOWN, CRAZY FOR YOU)
In this comprehensive 5-day program, campers will hone all 3 major components of Musical Theatre performance: singing, dancing and acting.
Throughout the week, campers will learn numbers from beloved Broadway musicals, take a variety of workshops with visiting guest Broadway artists, see a Broadway Matinee, and perform in a final showcase at JCC's state-of-the-art 200 seat theatre!
Workshops with Broadway and Industry Guest Artists Include:
• Acting 101: Learn the fundamentals of acting technique!
• Improvisation & Theatre Games: Learn how to think on your feet while having fun!
• Broadway Dance: Learn a dance combo from one of Broadway’s current hits!
Broadway Matinee
On Wednesday, ACANY campers are bused to and from NYC and treated to a Broadway matinee performance of INTO THE WOODS!
The Final Showcase: At the end of the week, campers perform in a musical revue at the JCC's state-of-the-art 200 seat theater for family and friends!

Our youngest performers will be introduced to the beloved story of FROZEN in this one-week musical theatre summer camp!
Campers rehearse songs, dance numbers and scenes from Disney’s FROZEN, learn proper singing technique and expand their theatrical knowledge under the guidance of a Professional Actor/Singer and Teaching Artist!
Campers also get to craft props and set pieces that will be incorporated into the final performance!
Bring a pillow and blanket for a short nap time!
Final Showcase:
On Friday afternoon, our performers present a workshop performance of FROZEN KIDS for family and friends at the studio!
