See a Broadway Matinee and enjoy a talk-back with cast members! 

Final Showcase: Off-Broadway Debut
At the end of the week, campers make their Off-Broadway Debut in a musical revue at a professional NYC Theatre for family and friends!

A Class Act NY’s Pre-Professional Program is for advanced actors who are ready for the challenge of honing their singing, dancing, & acting skills through exploring more advanced work.

Daily Dance + Warm-Up
Begin each day with an energizing and educational vocal and physical warm-up with our Broadway Director and Music Director. 

Broadway Matinee & Talk-Back
See a Broadway Matinee (TBA) and enjoy a talk-back after the show! 

Private Lessons, Group Instruction and Advanced Masterclasses
A combination of private and group instruction will provide participants with a unique week-long experience. Participants will also take a series of advanced masterclasses with visiting Broadway guest artists designed to challenge and elevate our actors' skill set. 

Industry Showcase w/ Scouting Talent Reps
On Thursday evening, perform in an invited dress rehearsal for 5 or more scouting talent reps! Many of our past participants have been discovered at this very program. For a list of recent student achievements, click here.

Final Showcase: Off-Broadway Debut
The Pre-Professional Program culminates in a final showcase at an off-Broadway Theatre for loved ones!

Composed and Music Directed by EMMY Award-Winning Composer, Sean P. Pallatroni

Learn about the rewards and challenges of creating a character from the ground up, and working with a developing script.

Throughout this 5-day program, students rehearse a brand new musical and get it on its feet!

Staged Reading in the Studio:
The week culminates in the WORLD PREMIERE for an audience filled with family, friends, and industry guests!

This is the 7th Original work produced by A Class Act NY! Past Productions Include: WRITTEN IN TIME by Sean Pallatroni, FOUND. by Lauren “Coco” Cohn and Stacia Fernandez, MAJOR & MINOR ADJUSTMENTS (IN THE KEY OF QUARANTINE) and THE ROAD TO SOC-CON by Sean P. Pallatroni, ESCAPE! by Matt Patrick Walsh, and PSYKIDZ by Bobby Cronin! All of these works are still being developed today!

Broadway Matinee:
On Wednesday, ACANY campers are bused to and from NYC and treated to a Broadway Matinee.

The Final Showcase:
At the end of the week, campers perform in a musical revue at the JCC’s state-of- -the-art 200 seat theatre for family and friends!

Instructor: Professional Director, Singer, Performer, Rebecca Reres

Young performers will be introduced to the beloved story of WILLY WONKA KIDS in this one-week musical theatre summer camp!

Campers rehearse songs, dance numbers and scenes from WILLY WONKA, learn proper singing technique and expand their theatrical knowledge under the guidance of a Professional Actor/Singer and Teaching Artist!

Campers also craft props and set pieces that will be incorporated into the final performance!

Bring a pillow and blanket for a short nap time!

Final Showcase:
On Friday afternoon, our performers present a paired down performance of WILLY WONKA KIDS for family and friends at the studio!

Focus of Camp:
• Learn fun song-and-dance numbers from WILLY WONKA KIDS
• Make your own props and set pieces
• Perform in a final showcase for family and friends
