Synopsis
The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka KIDS is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

Through improv games, students learn to create characters & story lines that come to life!

In our "SNL Style Class" bring in characters and John Patrick will help craft these ideas into sketch scenarios.

This class is an incredible way to build muscles that will be helpful to you as an actor in other aspects of our profession, such as:
in live performance when things go awry
in auditions when a casting director asks you to improv
on-set when your director asks you to improv
when you’re on a sketch show and you have to roll w/ the punches & often use improv as a tool

Tackle songs composed by the most prolific composers of the 21st Century!

Hone storytelling through song skills, song interpretation and presentation! Add a new cut or two by composers from this century to your audition book, one 16 bar cut, and one 32 bar cut!

On the 1st day, students must bring in a few songs they would like to work on by a famous composer(s) from the 21st century. Our Broadway team will decide which are your two strongest song cuts and that’s what we will focus on in class.

“Broadway Rocks” Cabaret To Benefit The Neurodiversity Alliance

If cast performers sing their favorite rock or pop rock musical theatre songs at the historic Triad Theatre on Monday, Dec. 8 in an effort to raise funds and awareness for The Neurodiversity Alliance!

The Neurodiversity Alliance’s mission is to improve the educational experience and outcomes of students who learn differently, while growing the neurodiversity movement for a more equitable and inclusive society for all. Together, we envision a world that fully embraces and values neurodiversity.

Video Audition Instructions:
Sing any musical theatre song, either a cappella or with a backing track. Click here for self-tape guidelines and video submission instructions.

Audition Deadline:
Performers are accepted on a rolling admissions basis, with no set deadline. However, the cabaret is limited to a small number of advanced performers, and spots cannot be held. To avoid being waitlisted, submit your audition as soon as possible.

Solos or Duets:
If cast, performers may sing either a SOLO or a DUET with a friend or sibling.

Duets:
If you would like to sing a duet with a friend or sibling, please contact the office here.

Rehearsals via Zoom or In Person:
45-minute rehearsals take place either via Zoom or in person in NYC.
*Zoom rehearsals are FREE of charge.

**If you prefer to rehearse in person, we offer a very deep discount on a private rehearsal with our Broadway Director and Music Director. After registration, you may sign up for an in-person rehearsal at an additional cost of $195. In-person rehearsals take place at the West 72nd Street location of Ripley-Grier Studios.
