Meisner Technique:
The goal of the Meisner Technique is for the actor to not focus on themselves and instead concentrate on the other actors in the immediate environment. There is a greater focus on the other actor as opposed to one's internal thoughts or feelings associated with the character.

Brief Synopsis:
Emma has always lived between worlds—the reality she inhabits, the past she clings to, and the stories she creates. But when love, betrayal, and hidden truths threaten to unravel everything, she’s forced to confront what’s real and what’s just a story she’s telling herself.
Blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, this musical is a sweeping journey of love, loss, and memory. But beneath it all is a celebration—the love we carry, the people we refuse to forget, and the stories we leave behind.
Staged Performance in our NYC Studio:
The week culminates in the WORLD PREMIERE of DON’T FORGET ME: A NEW MUSICAL, for an audience filled with family, friends, and industry guests!

Private Lessons, Group Instruction and Advanced Masterclasses
A combination of private and group instruction will provide participants with a unique week-long experience. Participants will also take a series of advanced masterclasses with visiting Broadway guest artists designed to challenge and elevate our actors' skill set.
Industry Showcase w/ Scouting Talent Reps

The Acting Lab:
Challenge yourself in a unique one-week Acting Lab dedicated to exploring the balance between thoughtful preparation and exciting, unpredictable performance and auditioning skills.
Through the lens of exploring techniques ranging from Stanislavski, Linklater, Quantum Mechanics, and 30 years of Mitchell’s unique experience in both teaching and guiding some of today's most successful actors through meaningful career and creative development.
Actors learn how to explore texts with their own creative and imaginative energies and find new ways to discover the moments and environment which lead to dynamic and compelling performances.
Final Industry Presentation:
The Lab will culminate on the 5th and final day with a remote, zoom presentation showcasing each actor’s work for a small audience of industry and creative professionals with the purpose of applying the week’s discoveries right away in front of Industry Professionals.
