Students learn one or both of the techniques developed by two masters of acting: Sanford Meisner and Uta Hagen.
Stars such as Meryl Streep, Chadewick Boseman, Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, and many others utilized these very techniques.

Through scene-work from plays and acting exercises, students learn the core principles of these two distinguished masters of acting.
Both Meisner and Hagen were inspired by Stanislavski and his earlier work.
1st 6-Weeks of Meisner Technique:
The goal of the Meisner Technique is for the actor to not focus on themselves and instead concentrate on the other actors in the immediate environment. There is a greater focus on the other actor as opposed to one’s internal thoughts or feelings associated with the character.
2nd 6-Weeks of Hagen Technique:
Hagen’s acting techniques encourage actors to avoid over-intellectualizing their processes and instead root themselves in rigorous observation of daily life. The five key elements of Hagen’s technique are substitution, transference, specificity, authenticity, and preparation.
Final Showcase(s) for Loved Ones & Talent Reps
Each 6-Week Session concludes in a performance for loved ones and a few scouting Talent Reps.
