Online Musical Theatre Camps

Our online musical theatre summer camps give students the unique opportunity to work on the three essential disciplines that make up musical theatre performance: singing, dancing and acting. Instructors include prominent Broadway Stars, Music Directors and Industry Pros who will provide students with a superior education in a fun and supportive environment! We’ve been utilizing Zoom for our programs since early March to great success! Camp days will be shorter and class sizes will be smaller in this new format to ensure a positive experience for all.

Join us for multiple weeks throughout the summer!  We never cover the same material twice!

Payment Plans are available, please contact us for more information!

Performers have the unique opportunity to work with Award-Winning L.A. Casting Director, Lisa London on on-camera acting and auditioning skills.

It’s no secret that the past few years have been challenging for the industry, but Lisa and her office, London/Stroud Casting have remained busy. Lisa cast 7 films that went into production in 2020 alone. These included THE INHERITANCE which filmed in Georgia, BASEMENT which filmed on Long Island (starring ACANY Instructor and TV/Film Actor, RJ Brown), OLD HENRY which filmed in Nashville, CANYON DEL MUERTO which filmed in New Mexico (starring Abigail Breslin), STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, EDDIE AND SUNNY and LOVE ON THE ROCK which filmed overseas in Italy and Malta, respectively. Lisa and her partner, Catherine Stroud cast actors from all over the USA, and even the world for these different movies. Currently she has over 15 projects in pre and post production.

Focus of Lisa’s On-Camera Camp:
• Actors perform a mock audition for Lisa and learn how to prepare for auditions
• Actors are paired up with “co-stars” and will dissect and analyze their scenes
• Actors gain invaluable feedback and training from Lisa London throughout the week
• Lisa directs all actors’ scenes

Lisa will also use improvisation, an important skill to have both on-set and in auditions. She will run fun exercises that keep actors’ minds sharp, focused and keep the creative juices flowing.

To round out our students’ education, campers will also work with one of ACANY’s Teaching Artists, a bonafide on-camera actor, taking specialized workshops!

Workshops may include:
• Scene and Script Analysis
• Voice-Over Technique
• Commercial Acting and Audition Technique
• Improvisation
• Self-Tape and Marketing Reels

Final Showcase
