Larry Saperstein is an actor, best known for his role as Big Red on HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES! Before starring in the hit Disney+ series, Larry got his start performing in local productions on Long Island. Not only that, but Larry took various workshops at our studio! Some of his early stage credit include THE MUSIC MAN and MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET. Other on-screen credits include: FAN GIRL (ABC Family) and THE FIRST WIVES CLUB (BET+).
SINGERS & NON-SINGERS – ACTOR’S CHOICE:
Students can choose to perform either a 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song with a backing track (many can be found on YouTube) OR a scene from a Disney or Nick sitcom with a professional reader. We will provide the scene.

Focus of Class:
• Receive individual feedback and coaching on your 32-bar cut OR sitcom scene work for HSM star, Larry Saperstein
• Work on interpreting either a song cut or a scene
• Learn if your piece is a good choice for you and showcases your unique talent
• Learn what it takes to be a successful actor on the set of a hit TV Show
• Learn how to Land Jokes, Make Turns and Bring Out the Funny in the Audition Room and On Set
• Class will conclude with an informative Q&A with this Disney+ Star
Participants will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a front facing camera, and you must download the free ZOOM app to participate!
