Since most musicals that are produced today fall into the pop rock category, it’s imperative actors have an audition book that includes song cuts from the genre.
It matters not if you are auditioning for your local school or community theatre production, or for professional shows!
Either way, you should be prepared to “rock” your pop rock auditions!
By the end of our time together, students walk away with one 16 bar cut, and one 32 bar cut to add to their repertoire.
We will work on both performance and audition skills in this class!
Improve your audition technique, storytelling through song, musicality and more! Put your best foot forward on stage and in the audition room!
Focus Of Class:
• Hone 2 pop rock song cuts – a 16 bar cut and a 32 bar cut
• Hone song interpretation, presentation skills, vocal dynamics, tone, pitch, and more with our Broadway Team
• Learn how to talk to the Music Director and learn the do’s and don’ts of auditioning
• Learn how to leave a lasting impression both on the stage, and in the audition room
Final Showcase for Loved Ones & Talent Reps
Concludes in a performance for loved ones and a few Scouting Talent Agents and Managers!
