Prerequisite: For serious students only!
Through scene-work, monologues, and acting exercises, students will learn the core principles of the Meisner Technique.
Focus: Meisner Technique
The goal of the Meisner Technique is for the actor to not focus on themselves and instead concentrate on the other actors in the immediate environment. There is a greater focus on the other actor as opposed to one’s internal thoughts or feelings associated with the character.
Final Showcase for Loved Ones & Talent Reps
Class concludes with a short presentation of material we have worked on for a few scouting Talent Reps & loved ones!
