Actors who are interested in auditioning for musical theatre programs will benefit from working with the Enrollment Manager at Pace University’s School of the Arts, a Broadway Actor and Pace University School of the Arts Adjunct Professor and a professional Music Director. The Enrollment Manager will give students in inside look at the pre-screen process and what he wants to see in applicants. A straight acting, non-musical theatre camp great for both the thespian and the musical theatre actor!
Through a variety of techniques and workshops in scene study, on-camera and voiceover technique, script analysis, physicality exercises, improvisation and more, campers will finish the week with plenty of new skills to add to their actor’s toolbox.

A Class Act NY’s Pre-Professional Program is for a select group of young artists who are ready for the challenge of growing their theatre performance skills and are looking forward to exploring more advanced work.
Pre-Professional Program faculty include Broadway Theatre Actors and Industry Professionals interested in sharing methods and insights with those seeking to expand their craft and explore creative expression.
The performance is designed to showcase the skills and challenging material students have mastered throughout the week.

Work one-on-one with Robyn Owen of Robyn Owen Casting, a 20-year veteran of the casting industry!
Robyn casts important big-budget feature films including the highly anticipated Disney film A WRINKLE IN TIME starring Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon (March 2018 release).
Current projects also include the big-budget film ETHYREA: CODE OF THE BRETHREN, THE ‘57 BUSHVILLE CHAMPS, LOVE IS A HURTIN’ THING and the TV Series SHOTS FIRED.

In this comprehensive musical theatre program, campers will work with a Broadway Actor and Professional Music Director on song and dance numbers from different eras in Broadway history, from the old classics to the hits of today! On-Camera & Broadway actor James Leo Ryan (ANNIE, NCIS, CSI, MEDIUM, NUMB3RS) will lead this week.
Workshops with Broadway Actors: Campers will take workshops with various Broadway guest artists throughout the week! On the final day of camp, campers will perform in a Musical Revue for friends and family!

Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to work on a real TV series?
Now’s your chance! In our new on-camera summer program, actors will experience every aspect of television acting from the audition to rehearsals to the live taping with WALK THE PRANK and LIV AND MADDIE Disney Director, Wendy Faraone! All of the scenes used for this class will be pulled from actual sitcoms!

An original musical about our hidden abilities and the fears that come with being “different”, PSYKIDZ follows three youngsters from various backgrounds who are chosen by world renowned psychic-medium Skylar Quinn to get specialized on-site training at a newly discovered site that has sent scientists and archeologists running in fear. As the psychic kids develop their skills and subsequently heal the conflicted relationships with their families, they each become more confident and accepting of their special abilities, ultimately becoming more confident with who they are.
