The class is geared toward actors who are serious about their work. A considerable amount of memorization and homework will be required.

Throughout this 6-week musical theatre immersion course, students will work on scenes and numbers from some of Broadway’s biggest hits!
Focus of Class:
• Learn how to transition seamlessly from a scene into a song
• Learn how to make strong character choices
• How to move gracefully on stage
• How to act a song for maximum impact
• Hone acting and vocal skills
• Learn how to connect emotionally to the lyric
• Learn how to be in the moment when working with a scene partner
• Work on listening and reacting skills.
• Perform scenes and songs that you have workshopped throughout the semester in a final showcase for family and scouting industry reps
Final Showcase: Actors will showcase their individual talents when they perform their scenes and songs for loved ones and a few scouting Talent Reps.

Audition Requirements:
Sing 32 bars, a cappella, of a musical theatre song
Ages: 8-11
