Christy Altomare is best known for portraying the title character of Anya/Anastasia in the Broadway sensation, ANASTASIA! Previous to ANASTASIA, Christy played the lead role of Sophie in MAMMA MIA! and before that she played Sue Snell in the Off-Broadway cult hit, CARRIE.
Focus of Class:
• Sing and receive individual feedback and coaching on your 32-bar song cut from Broadway’s Christy Altomare
• Learn if your song showcases your unique personality and vocal range
• Learn how to interpret a song and break it down into acting beats
• Q&A with Broadway’s Christy Altomare (time permitting)

Learn the art of comedic on-camera acting and audition technique from 3x Emmy Nominee & 3x Artios Winner, L.A. Casting Director, Howard Meltzer!
Howard has worked on a wide variety of projects including single-cam & multi-cam pilots & series, TV movies, animation, indie films, and vertical & microdramas.
He has cast for ABC, CBS, Disney+, Disney Channel, DreamWorks, Fox, HBO Max, NBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Peacock, Sony Pictures Television, 20th Television, and Warner Bros. Television.
Howard’s passion is in identifying new undiscovered talent, and he has become the go-to casting director for projects in Kids, YA, and Family programming, including 100 episodes of the landmark series HANNAH MONTANA, the pilot and season one of RAVENS HOME, and BUNK’D, the longest running series in Disney Channel history!
Howard will even take the time to write short evaluations for each of his students!

• Perform scenes for Howard who will offer notes, constructive criticism and redirects on your performance
• Learn what casting directors like Howard Meltzer like to see in the audition room
• Learn how to leave an impression in the audition room
• Learn how to have a successful zoom audition
• Receive a written evaluation with Howard’s thoughts on your strengths, and areas where you can improve
