Be in the WORLD PREMIERE of a new work!
Learn about the rewards and challenges of creating a character from the ground up, and working with a developing script.
Brief Plot Summary:
How can you know what you have until you know what you have?
FOUND.
From finding out that you can hold your breath longer than anyone in your school, to finding a literal diamond in the rough. From finding a way to talk to your Mom, to finding the words in French that get you back to your hotel when you’ve turned the wrong way. We have all found something. In fact, we are finding ourselves all the time. Should we keep what we find, or let it go? The choice is ours. But it’s always a good idea to celebrate what you have.
In a series of scenes and monologues, let’s share in all we have found.
Originate a Role
• There’s no such thing as a lead role in this production, as all parts are equal in size. This show is made up of two person scenes and monologues that will ensure every member of our cast has their moment to shine!
Receive Special Insight into the Writing Process
• In addition to rehearsing our show, we’ll learn all about Playwriting Concepts and Script Development from working professionals!
Gain Experience Working with a Developing Story
• Since we’ll be working on this piece over the course of a few weeks, you’ll get to experience script rewrites and see how a new piece can evolve over time.
There is no audition required to participate, actors must submit a self-tape prior to our first rehearsal. Roles will be handed out on Sunday, April 25.
Please Prepare:
All actors should perform this monologue from the show.

The entire rehearsal process will take place via zoom. Actors will utilize zoom’s features, such as breakout rooms, to rehearse 1-on-1 with their scene partners and Coco, our director.
Throughout the process, we will film the production using virtual backgrounds and the actor’s own home environments. The show will be edited together, and we’ll be hosting a viewing party with the cast, family, friends, and scouting industry guests on our final day!
Participants will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a front facing camera, and you must download the free ZOOM app to participate!
