Think you have a burgeoning comedian on your hands? Is your child always writing and performing original pieces around the house? Tap into your child’s innate creativity and help them develop their comedic writing and on-camera performing chops in this super fun on-camera sketch comedy class!
Focus of Class:
• Students will devise their own short comedy sketches with the help of their amazing instructor who has written original content and practices improvisation!
• Moreover, we will recreate a “writer’s room” atmosphere in this program. Students will learn how to structure their stories and how to write and land jokes.
• Once students have developed their material, they’ll get the scenes on-camera and their talented instructor will block their scenes, and work on comedic timing and physicality.
Final Showcase: Through various improvisation exercises and other tools that writers employ, we will help our actors create super funny sketches that will be performed on-camera for loved ones and a few scouting industry guests!
