Our online musical theatre summer camps give students the unique opportunity to work on the three essential disciplines that make up musical theatre performance: singing, dancing and acting. Instructors include prominent Broadway Stars, Music Directors and Industry Pros who will provide students with a superior education in a fun and supportive environment! We’ve been utilizing Zoom for our programs since March of 2020 to great success!

Hone your musical theatre chops in a fun, safe and supportive environment in our interactive online program with amazing Broadway faculty!

Special July 4th Schedule: Join us for either four (Mon-Thur) or five days (Mon-Fri)! Only campers who join us for five days will participate in the final showcase.

Daily Dance + Warm-Up
We begin each day with an energizing and educational vocal and physical warm-up with our Broadway Director, Morgan Weed. 

Private Lessons
Included in the cost of camp is a free 35-minute one-on-one session with our Broadway Director, Morgan Weed, to supplement what is being learned during the camp day, and a free 15-minute dance private with Pro Dancer, Thea Fogel. Lessons will take place outside of normal camp hours.

Workshops
Campers will take educational workshops throughout the week led by their Broadway Director, Morgan Weed and Special Guest Instructors including Voice-Over & Broadway Artist, Sean Patrick Doyle and Broadway’s Ashley Kate Adams!

Broadway Star Q&A with Alex Boniello (DEAR EVAN HANSEN)
One of Broadway’s biggest stars, Alex Boniello, will zoom in for an informative Q&A! Ask him everything you’ve ever wanted to know about starring on Broadway, or the business of show business!

Final Showcase
Campers who join us for all five days will perform in an online final showcase for family and friends! Zoom in to watch performers present what they have learned throughout the week! (If your loved ones can’t make it live, a recorded version will be distributed via email a few weeks after camp!)

Deepen your performance skills and audition technique with 4 of Broadway’s biggest stars!

This program ends in a showcase for family, friends, two scouting industry guests, an agent and a manager!

Daily Instruction & Showbiz Q&A’s
Each day includes a two-and-a-half-hour workshop with that day’s star, followed by a 15-minute Q&A that both parents and students are invited to attend!

Weekly Schedule of Workshops
Monday: Scene Study with Broadway’s Joe Carroll (Hans in FROZEN, Johnny in BANDSTAND, Topher in CINDERELLA)
Team up with a “co-star” in Breakout Rooms and work on a scene from a Broadway musical with Broadway's Joe Carroll. Work on script analysis, and begin to learn how to analyze the text, so that we may discover important techniques for musical theatre acting.

Tuesday: 32-Bar Cut Audition with Broadway’s Cheech Manohar (Kevin G in MEAN GIRLS)
Bring in your go-to 32 bar cut, and receive expert feedback and coaching from Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen. Work on song interpretation, audition technique, and presentation skills.

Wednesday: The Broadway Dance Call with Broadway’s Iain Young (Henry in NEWSIES, Damian U/S in MEAN GIRLS and Asst. Dance Captain)
Learn how to pick up steps quickly and easily and how to present yourself confidently in a dance audition with Broadway’s Iain Young. Not a strong dancer? Then, this class is a must!

Thursday: The Second 32-Bar Cut Audition with Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen (THE PROM, BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY)
Bring in your go-to 32 bar cut, and receive expert feedback and coaching from Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen. Work on song interpretation, audition technique, and presentation skills.

A Class Act NY’s Pre-Professional Program is for a select group of artists who are ready for the challenge of honing their singing, dancing, & acting skills through exploring more advanced work.

Private Lessons
During the week, participants will receive 3 free private lessons. Prep your final showcase material with the guidance of your Broadway Director, Music Director and Dance Instructor. Lessons will take place outside of normal camp hours.

Advanced Masterclasses with Visiting Broadway Stars & Broadway Casting Director Merri Sugarman of Tara Rubin Casting
Pre-Professional Program participants will also take a series of advanced masterclasses with visiting Broadway Stars and Broadway Casting Directors designed to challenge and elevate our actors' skill set.

Q&A w/ Tony Nominee, Grey Hensen (MEAN GIRLS, THE BOOK OF MORMON)
Each week we’ll invite one of Broadway’s biggest stars to zoom in for an informative Q&A! Ask Grey everything you’ve ever wanted to know about starring on Broadway, or the business of show business!

Final Showcase for 10 Scouting Talent Reps
Perform in a final showcase for loved ones and 10 scouting industry guests! (If your loved ones can’t make it live, a recorded version will be distributed via email a few weeks after camp!)
