Yu “Fish” Cui: Fish is a lyricist/book writer from China who holds a BFA in theatre from Stony Brook University and an MFA from the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Her previous works include a full-length musical Madama Butterfly, an adaptation from Puccini’s opera, and an original play A Nelsonville Tale, both produced at Stony Brook University. She was awarded first place at the 2016 Undergraduate Concerto Competition at Stony Brook University. Fish’s latest musical, Echoes is currently in progress slated for production in 2021 (with music by Sean P. Pallatroni).
