Virginia is a teaching artist, dancer and writer in New York City. In her hometown of Trinidad, CO, she learned to dance at a young age through JoMar Dance Studio, and in high school began to pursue theatrical experiences with Southern Colorado Repertory Theater. She studied Theater Education at the University of Northern Colorado, where she honed skills in directing, acting, dancing, stage management, scenic design, construction, and painting, prop creation, stage crew. She believes that performing arts are the best way to be creative and expressive while building empathy and practicing safe space and communication. She believes that fun is a key ingredient to learning. In her spare time, Virginia writes poetry, creative essays and theatrical plays.
