Brief Plot Summary:
How can you know what you have until you know what you have?
FOUND.
From finding out that you can hold your breath longer than anyone in your school, to finding a literal diamond in the rough. From finding a way to talk to your Mom, to finding the words in French that get you back to your hotel when you’ve turned the wrong way. We have all found something. In fact, we are finding ourselves all the time. Should we keep what we find, or let it go? The choice is ours. But it’s always a good idea to celebrate what you have.
In a series of scenes and monologues, let’s share in all we have found.
Originate a Role
• What are your special skills? Do you beatbox or play the piano, the drums or guitar? Are you an acrobat? We want to use YOUR skills in this piece!
• There’s no such thing as a lead role in this production, as all parts are equal in size. This show is made up of two person scenes and monologues that will ensure every member of our cast has their moment to shine!
Receive Special Insight into the Writing Process
• In addition to rehearsing our show, we’ll learn all about Playwriting Concepts and Script Development!
Gain Experience Working with a Developing Story
• You’ll get to experience script rewrites and see how a new piece can evolve over time.
