Build a strong acting foundation from the comfort of your own home with Artistic Director, Jessica R. Grosman!

In this course, we will focus on breaking down monologues into their purest elements. All students will work as a group to analyze pieces. Each student will have the ability to perform their pieces for Jessica and their classmates. Individual adjustments and direction will be given by Jessica.

Final Showcase and Q&A with Talent Rep: Together, we will work towards an online final showcase in which a top talent agent will Zoom in to see your performance! Not only will the talent rep observe your performance and add feedback, but they will also conduct a showbiz Q&A for students and their parents!

• Receive and perform one minute monologues that you can use for future auditions

• Nail the audition once you get in the room

• Identify your character’s overall objective
• Identify conflicts your character faces in your piece
• Learn how to use tactics to achieve your objective
• Discover operative words and acting beats within the text
• Work on character development

Choreographer & Dance Instructor: Austin Marquez

You asked and we listened!

Introducing our Online Dance Call Experience Class, for actors and singers who want to improve their dance skills in a safe and supportive environment!

Every Friday, students will be sent a video lesson from Austin, focusing on a different musical theatre dance genre. Austin will present a new combination for each of the six sessions. The class will not only cover choreography, but students will learn terminology and technique specific to each style.

Once you watch the weekly video, you have the weekend to film yourself performing that week’s choreography and submit it to us using Google Drive by Monday. Then we’ll schedule a roughly 15 min ZOOM meeting between Austin & you based on your schedules where he will provide individual feedback on your performance. He’ll also be able to break down difficult steps with you via video and watch you perform specific steps and offer guidance and feedback.

WEEK TWO: Tap - Soft Shoe (no tap shoes required)
WEEK THREE: Fosse
WEEK FOUR: Hip Hop

6-Week Online Advanced Scene Study: Great American Playwrights Past & Present

Broadway & On-Camera Instructor: John Patrick Hayden (TARTUFFE, LAW & ORDER SVU, DAREDEVIL)

This class is geared toward advanced teen actors who are serious about their work.

Throughout this 6-week course, actors will perform scenes written by the greatest American playwrights, both past and present! Each student will get to work on two different scenes from two different eras in American Theatre History.

The overall objective of the class is to help actors improve their technique and learn how to approach both classical and contemporary texts.
