She was most recently seen on Broadway in the 2017 revival of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. She earned her Tony for her role in the 2014 revival of YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU. Other Broadway credits include: SYLVIA\, HAIR\, and WICKED. You may also recognize her from her many on-screen credits including: MASTERS OF SEX\, AMERICAN CRIME STORY\, YOUNGER\, LATE NIGHT\, SECOND ACT\, and JOHN MULANEY AND THE SACK LUNCH BUNCH. \nSINGERS & NON-SINGERS – ACTOR’S CHOICE: Students participating in this class can choose to perform either a 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song either a cappella or with a backing track (many can be found on YouTube) OR a one minute monologue. \nInterested in purchasing a professional performance track? Email us after registering and we will send you one to perform! \nFocus of Class:\n• Receive individual feedback and coaching on your 32-bar cut OR your monologue from Tony Winner\, Annaleigh Ashford\n• Learn how to interpret a song cut or a monologue\n• Learn how to break down your pieces into acting beats\n• Learn if your song showcases your unique personality and vocal range\n• Learn how to use tactics to achieve your objective in your monologue\n• Discover operative words and acting beats within the text\n• Class will conclude with an informative Q&A \nParticipants will need a computer\, smartphone\, or tablet with a front facing camera.
