Ali Stroker made history as the first actor in a wheelchair on Broadway when she appeared in Deaf West’s acclaimed 2015 revival of SPRING AWAKENING. Most recently, Ali won a Tony Award for her portrayal of Ado Annie in the 2019 revival of OKLAHOMA! She also starred in the 2020 Lifetime Movie, CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER, and on TV Shows such as GLEE (FOX), TEN DAYS IN THE VALLEY (ABC), and THE BOLD TYPE (FREEFORM).
Students participating in this class must be prepared to perform a 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song either a cappella or with a backing track (many can be found on YouTube).

Focus of Class:
• Sing and receive individual feedback and coaching on your 32-bar audition cut from Tony Winner, Ali Stroker
• Learn if your song showcases your unique personality and vocal range
• Learn how to interpret a song and break it down into acting beats
• Class will conclude with a super inspiring and informative Q&A with Tony Winner & TV Star, Ali Stroker!
