Deepen your performance skills and audition technique with 4 of Broadway’s biggest stars!

This program ends in a showcase for family, friends, two scouting industry guests, an agent and a manager!

The 4 Broadway stars who comprise our All-Stars Camp will provide invaluable feedback, coaching, and insight into the world of Broadway.

Warm-Up
Begin each day with an energizing and educational vocal and physical warm-up with a member of ACANY’s faculty!

Daily Instruction & Showbiz Q&A’s
Each day includes a two-and-a-half-hour workshop with that day’s star, followed by a 15 minute Q&A that both parents and students are invited to attend!

Weekly Schedule of Workshops

Monday: Scene Study with Broadway’s Joe Carroll (Hans in FROZEN, Johnny in BANDSTAND, Topher in CINDERELLA)
Team up with a “co-star” in Breakout Rooms and work on a scene from a Broadway musical with Broadway’s Joe Carroll. Work on script analysis, and begin to learn how to analyze the text, so that we may discover important techniques for musical theatre acting.

Tuesday: 32-Bar Cut Audition with Broadway’s Cheech Manohar (Kevin G in MEAN GIRLS)
Bring in your go-to 32 bar cut, and receive expert feedback and coaching from Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen. Work on song interpretation, audition technique, and presentation skills. Need a 32 bar cut? Contact us for a private voice lesson!

Wednesday: The Broadway Dance Call with Broadway’s Iain Young (Henry in NEWSIES, Damian U/S in MEAN GIRLS and Asst. Dance Captain)
Learn how to pick up steps quickly and easily and how to present yourself confidently in a dance audition with Broadway’s Iain Young. Not a strong dancer? Then, this class is a must!

Thursday: The Second 32-Bar Cut Audition with Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen (THE PROM, BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY)
Bring in your go-to 32 bar cut, and receive expert feedback and coaching from Tony Nominee, Caitlin Kinnunen. Work on song interpretation, audition technique, and presentation skills. Need a 32 bar cut? Contact us for a private voice lesson!

Friday: Final Showcase for Family, Friends, and 2 Scouting Talent Reps
Under the guidance of an ACANY instructor, review what you have learned during the week and get ready to present 2 of your favorite pieces live for family, friends, and two top scouting talent reps!

Final Showcase
Watch performers put their new skills to the test in a Showcase for two top scouting talent reps and family and friends! (If your loved ones can’t make it live, a recorded version will be distributed via email a few weeks after camp!)

PLEASE NOTE
While there is no audition required for this program, students should have a deep passion for the performing arts and be serious about their work.

Participants will need a computer, smartphone, or tablet with a front-facing camera, and you must download the free ZOOM app to participate!
