DESCRIPTION:Ages: Juniors\, Seniors\, & Young Adults | No Audition Required | Sunday\, December 8 | 10 AM – 6 PM | Cost: 299.00 \nCalling juniors\, seniors and young adults with aspirations of attending a top BFA\, BM\, or BA Musical Theatre College Program!\n\nSpend the day perfecting your audition materials alongside 2 college admissions officers from PACE UNIVERSITY and MARYMOUNT MANHATTAN COLLEGE on December 8.\n\nEach student will get the chance to work on 3 pieces\, and get individual feedback and coaching from the College Admissions Officers who have unique insight into the college audition process\, and ACANY staff including our professional music director.\n\nThis Intensive will leave you confident and ready to take on the daunting task of auditioning for college musical theatre programs!\n\nPart One: \n\n\nStart your day off working on your monologue with Kevin Kemler\, college admissions officer at Marymount Manhattan College\nEach student will present a 90 second or less contemporary monologue\nKevin will coach students on their audition technique and give his opinion on whether your monologue is a good fit for you\n\n\nPart Two:\n\n\nAfter lunch\, work on your song cuts with Wayne Petro\, college admissions officer at Pace University\nEach student will present one 16 bar cut\, and one 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song\nWayne and the Music Director will give feedback and coaching on your songs and audition technique and weigh in on whether your cuts are a good fit for you\nQ&A with Wayne Petro of PACE U.
