DESCRIPTION:Ages 4 – early 20s  |  There will be 2 private coaching sessions prior to the showcase  |  Cost (if cast) $385.00 \nAdmissions on a rolling basis. Spots will not be held. \nThe following are the guidelines for those students auditioning for or cast in the May 2019 Agent & Industry Pro Showcase. \nAudition Guidelines:\nPrepare: One-minute contemporary age appropriate monologue. Monologues MUST be memorized.\nIf you are a Singer: Sing 32 bars a cappella of a musical theatre song that is age-appropriate. If you are cast as a singer\, you will have an accompanist at rehearsals and the showcase.\n\n  \n\n\n\n*Monologues are mandatory for the audition. If you are a singer and interested in musical theatre\, we would also like you to prepare a song!\n\n\n\n\n  \nAudition Information:\nEmail us to set up an in-person audition! \nAudition Via Video:\nSubmit a video audition! Please click here to read our self-tape guidelines. \nFor more information please contact us! \nWhat to bring to rehearsals: \nIt is very important to bring a recorder to both coaching sessions. This way you can go home and work on what we went over and then come back for the second rehearsal having made the proper adjustments. You can use an iphone\, blackberry\, ipod touch or any recording device. You will need to download a voice memos app. We can not use video as it takes up to much room. If you don’t have one\, please purchase one at an electronic store. \nIf you were accepted as a commercial actor you do not need to bring in any additional material. We will assign it in your first rehearsal. \nLegit Actors will be required to prepare the following: \nMonologues: Everyone should bring at least 2 or 3 monologues. We want options to choose from\, should we think the monologue you chose was not the best possible choice. You must be off book. As with the audition\, your monologue must be from a play. Please bring 2 copies of each of your monologues with you. We need extra copies so that we can cut the monologue if need be and so we can take notes for direction purposes. \nLegit Singers will be required to prepare the monologues above as well as the following: \nTheir book of music with at least 3 or 4 different musical theatre songs to choose from. Bring several song choices with you. We may want to change your song after we hear a few options. Please make cuts and mark your music clearly.  Be sure you still bring in the full sheet music in case we change your cut.
