Throughout the week\, campers will learn numbers from beloved Broadway musicals\, see Broadway’s empowering musical ANASTASIA and attend a talkback with actors after the show\, and perform in a final showcase at an Off-Broadway Theatre! \nWorkshops with Broadway Guest Artists Include:\n• Musical Theatre History in a Jiffy: Learn about the history of the Broadway musical from the music of Porter (ANYTHING GOES\, KISS ME KATE) to Pasek & Paul (DEAR EVAN HANSEN\, LA LA LAND)!\n• Cold Read: Learn how to nail a commercial audition with material you just received!\n• Sitcom Acting: Learn how to bring out the funny in comedic TV scripts!\n• Shakespeare: Learn how to give iambic pentameter a modern twist!\n• Broadway Jazz: Learn about the fundamentals of Broadway dance while learning a combo from a Broadway Musical!\n• Stage Combat: Learn how to throw a punch that will only look like it hurt!\n• Stage Makeup: Learn how to apply professional stage and special effects makeup! \nBroadway Matinee & Talkback: On Wednesday\, ACANY campers are treated to a matinee performance of Broadway’s empowering musical ANASTASIA and attend a Talkback with cast members after the show! \nOff-Broadway Debut – The Final Showcase:\nAt the end of the week\, campers make their debut in a musical revue at an exciting Off-Broadway Theatre! \nTuition includes a free ACANY t-shirt\, ticket to a Broadway show\, and 3 complimentary tickets to the final Off-Broadway performance! \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER
