JOIN THE WAIT LIST! \nAudition info: Perform a 32 bar cut a cappella and email it to auditions@aclassactny.com (self-tape guidelines HERE) \nPayment Plans and Make-Up Class Available – please call our office at 212.315.3010 or email here to set up a plan today! \nBroadway Instructor: Michael Lee Brown (EVAN HANSEN in DEAR EVAN HANSEN) \nThe class is geared toward advanced teen actors who are serious about their work. \nBroadway is currently bursting with musicals with contemporary\, pop/rock scores! \n  \nHADESTOWN\, THE PROM\, BEETLEJUICE\, DEAR EVAN HANSEN\, MEAN GIRLS\, BE MORE CHILL\, HAMILTON\, WAITRESS and many other recent hits feature scores heavily influenced by what we hear on the radio! Not to mention\, jukebox musicals are having a moment with THE CHER SHOW and AIN’T TO PROUD which were both nominated for multiple Tonys this season\, and shows featuring the music of Tina Turner\, Alanis Morissette\, and Britney Spears are currently in development! \nNot to mention\, many of these shows feature teen actors: ACANY Alumni\, Sophia Anne Caruso (BEETLEJUICE)\, Reneé Rapp (MEAN GIRLS)\, and Andrew Bart Feldman (DEAR EVAN HANSEN) are all teens playing lead roles! \nEXCELLENT NEWS! There’s more opportunities for teens on Broadway and in National Tours than ever before! \nPlus\, in a few short years\, you will be legal 18\, meaning you are no longer a minor and the professional world will be waiting for you! Make sure you’re ready to take on a role in a professional production! \n  \nTeen actors must be equipped with a book full of contemporary pop/rock options when walking into their next audition. \nThis 6-week session is focused on finding contemporary audition songs that showcase your vocal abilities and personality. Continue to build your audition book of 16 and 32-bar cuts!
