DESCRIPTION:Ages 12-19  |  Sundays\, May 5 – June 9  |  11 AM – 1 PM  |  Cost: 565.00 \nSold Out! Email us to join the wait list! \nPayment Plans Available – please call our office at 212.315.3010 or email here to set up a payment plan today! \nInstructor: On-Camera & Broadway Actor\, Jared Zirilli (LAW & ORDER: SVU\, BLINDSPOT\, BLUE BLOODS) \ndra·me·dy: a movie\, play\, or television program that combines elements of both drama and comedy. \nThis is an advanced program for students who have taken on-camera classes at reputable institutions\, attend professional auditions\, and/or have representation. \nTeen Dramedy is an on-camera class geared toward actors interested in learning techniques found in popular teen dramedies\, such as ATYPICAL\, GLEE\, RIVERDALE\, GILMORE GIRLS\, AWKWARD\, VAMPIRE DIARIES\, THE BOLD TYPE\, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS\, GOSSIP GIRL\, THE O.C. and SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER! \nDramedies are probably the most difficult of all of the genres of on-camera acting because the actor has to strike a fine balance between being comedic yet grounded in reality for the dramatic moments in the show. \nStudents will learn to identify clues within the text as well as physical techniques to deliver the material that will help set them apart in their auditions. \nFinal Showcase: Class culminates in a final performance in the studio for loved ones and a few scouting talent reps! \nVideo Audition Instructions:\nPrepare this monologue from Lost In Yonkers OR a monologue of your choosing. \nHow to Submit Your Audition:\nPlease see Self-Tape Guidelines for instructions. \nAges: 12-19\nWhen: Sundays\, May 5\, 12\, 19; June 2\, 9** Final Showcase.
