ACANY’s Summer Intensives are for a select group of artists who are ready for the challenge of honing their singing, dancing, & acting skills in exploring more advanced work. Instructors are Broadway veterans who will provide your child with a superior education in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. We offer training in Musical Theatre, Drama, On-Camera Acting, and more!

Be in the WORLD PREMIERE of a new work!

Learn about the rewards and challenges of creating a character from the ground up, and working with a developing script. This will be an intensive rehearsal process, and unlike any camp or production ACANY has done before.

Junior Session Ages 7-11! Senior Session Ages 12-19! Space is limited to just 24 advanced actors! Monday Jul 16 - Friday Jul. 20!

A Class Act NY’s Pre-Professional Program is for a select group of artists who are ready for the challenge of honing their singing, dancing, & acting skills through exploring more advanced work. We will design a unique medley of musical theatre songs that will showcase actors’ individual talents through a combination of solos, duets and trios. Moreover, performers will work together as a full ensemble on large full cast musical numbers through a combination of private and group instruction with various Broadway instructors. Participants will be treated to a Broadway Matinee and a talkback with actors after the show! The Seniors will be seeing DEAR EVAN HANSEN! Juniors TBA!

This camp ends in a Final Showcase in an Off-Broadway Theatre for family and scouting industry professionals.

An original musical about our hidden abilities and the fears that come with being “different”, PSYKIDZ follows three youngsters from various backgrounds who are chosen by world renowned psychic-medium Skylar Quinn to get specialized on-site training at a newly discovered site that has sent scientists and archeologists running in fear. As the psychic kids develop their skills and subsequently heal the conflicted relationships with their families, they each become more confident and accepting of their special abilities, ultimately becoming more confident with who they are.
